Most of us are busy elsewhere during daylight hours, your landscape investment can only be enjoyed on weekends when your are at home during the day. From step lights to low-voltage walk lights as well as light posts, these can make your property more useful any time of the day (or night!).
Interior Lighting
No matter whether you are trying to add drama or mood to your room or simply for utility purposes, home lighting is not longer just a simple bulb hanging from the ceiling or a table lamp with a frilly shade. Your options have changed a lot in the last few years. Here's a few of the latest options:
- Recessed: Placed flush in the ceiling, they add a dramatic effect to rooms. Ranges from larger floodlight cans, to small halogen bulbs.
- Ambient: Washes a room with a glow of light, leaves little shadow. Wall sconces and recessed lighting are examples.
- Accent: Directional or highlight sources of light. Halogen spotlights, picture frame lights and table lights are a few types.
- Task: Directed to cover a task area such as under kitchen cabinets or over desks.
- Track: Offers flexibility in spotlighting key areas and the ability to reposition lighting source.
